A child of MIT's FSAE team, the MIT Autonomous Formula SAE (AFSAE) team works to make fast, robust autonomous racecars. Currently, we're working on translating our first Formula SAE car into a driverless car, using a combination of end-to-end learning and classical autonomy techniques such as SLAM and RRT path-finding. The team currently targets for either a 2017 or 2018 entry into the Formula Student Germany Driverless racing competition.

As of November 2016, the current members on the team include:

We're also often joined by our fantastic faculty sponsor, Professor Sertac Karaman.
